The uniquely bold Audi Singleframe® grille has angled corners and horizontal chrome struts that create contrasting details to the sweeping hood. Available full LED headlight technology boldly declares the arrival of the A8, while helping enhance lighting effectiveness. From the rear, the subtly squared corners emphasize the wide stance. Legendary Audi quattro® all-wheel drive shifts power towards the axle with more traction at practically any time, helping provide greater handling precision. And you'll notice an increase in fuel efficiency from the eight-speed Tiptronic® transmission and the lightweight aluminum ASF® technology.

What we cherish demands extra attention

Collisions happen. We intentionally prepare for them. Crumple zones at the front and rear help dissipate the energy and force of a collision. Our engineers also strategically placed a grand total of ten airbags throughout the cabin to help protect the driver and all outboard passengers.* When something goes wrong, the A8 does everything it can to help protect its occupants.

Featuring FSI® direct injection, a generous 6.3 liters of displacement, and the inherent refinement only twelve cylinders can bring, the A8 model's 500-horsepower crown jewel can accelerate to 60 mph in 4.1 seconds, embarrassing most sports cars while demonstrating otherworldly smoothness and silence in the process. What's more, the W12's clever packaging blesses it with an unusually modest size that enabled the inclusion of quattro®, making the A8 the only twelve-cylinder sedan in its league with all-wheel-drive.
